Quang Nguyen's Biography

Quang Nguyen was born in Dalat, Vietnam. Quang immigrated to the United States in 1975, after the end of the Vietnam conflict. Quang's family resided in central California, where he attended Livingston High School.

In 1980, Quang attended California State University, at Long Beach, as an electrical engineering major, but later found his real love, a passion for art. Quang graduated with a B.A. in Industrial Arts.

Quang draws in different mediums such as pencil and charcoal. He also paints in watercolor and oil on canvas. His subjects include both people and landscapes.

Quang started his career as a graphic designer and later to become a successful art director. Some of companies Quang provided his creative services for are Northrop Aircraft, Fluor Corporation, Sonance In-wall Speakers, and Knox Company.

Quang was also a partner with St. John Group advertising and later, the founder of Northpointe Media, where Quang applied his creative skills to the development of commercial web sites.

Presently, Quang is still the acting Art Director for the Knox Company and painting every day.

Quang makes his resident in Prescott Valley, Arizona, with his wife and two young children.
